Danielle Hartley

Danielle has a lifelong love of animals, domestic, livestock and exotic, from a highly involved childhood with pets through to studying Animal Behaviour & Welfare at university and volunteering at animal centres in the UK and abroad whilst travelling, with a view to contributing to outstanding animal care, welfare and education standards on a practical level.

Danielle has worked in many sectors including financial, secretarial and recruitment but finds no line of work as enjoyable, fulfilling and varied as her animal care roles in farms, sanctuaries and kennels. She is certain this opportunity to provide pets with the same first class care, attention and routine as their owners in their absence will be welcomed into her local area as years of looking after neighbours’ weird and wonderful creatures prove!

Danielle has recently set up home with her partner and extended family of 6 guinea pigs, 4 young cats (Mango, Papaya, Guava & Cinnamon - the youngest of the quartet) and the canine love of her life, Phoebie - a 5 year old rehomed Kelpie cross.
